Total prize pot is €2,000. The jury members reserve the right to limit the number of prizes, or not award any prizes at all, depending on the quality of the submissions.

Ariadna is an award-winning documentary film producer and director. She has directed for the NFB, CBC, and many independent docs. Most recently, her documentary, Holodomor: Voices of Survivors: Ukrainian Genocide of 1932-33, won the Audience Choice Award at EstDocs 2017. From a Ukrainian background, Ariadna has always seen Estonians as compatriots.
Riho is an associate professor at the Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication School in Tallinn and co-owner of the production company Vesilind. His interest in mountaineering motivated him to consider filmmaking— the beauty of the mountains and human suffering yearned for recording. Since 2003, Riho has been attracted to the Siberia and Far North. He has produced and co-produced a number of awardwinning documentaries with Latvian, Russian, and Finnish filmmakers.
